Professional Driver Training
HIDAT Training have over 30 years of experience in LGV Driver Training and all courses are designed to be enjoyable allowing the candidate to be the best driver they can be.
L.G.V Driving Courses
Large Goods Vehicle courses are provided for C1, C, C+ E. Category C entitlement allows sucessful candidates to drive rigid large goods vehicles while C + E allows operation of articulated good vehicles. HIDAT offer flexible courses structures around individual trainees' needs. Hidat instructors offer supportive training in a professional and stress free environment.
P.C.V Driving Courses
HIDAT offer full Passenger Carrying Vehicle courses allowing entitlment for categories D1, D and D + E. After qualification you will be able to drive vehicles ranging from a 12 seat minibus to an 80 seat coach. All P.C.V courses are taught to DSA standards.
Car and Trailer "B + E" Driving Courses
HIDAT provides training for the Car and Trailer license. This is an essential qualification for anyone who needs to tow a trailer either for commercial or personal use. The course takes two days and has the added benefit of being taught in your own vehicle. After qualification, you will be licensed to tow a trailer upto 750KG. This course is taught to DSA standards.
If you passed your driving test later than the 1st of February 1997 then you need to pass an additional test to tow any trailer including Horse Boxes, Caravans and flat bed trailers. Without this you may be driving illegally and risk points on your license.
Banksman Shunting Courses
On-site Shunting / Banksman training is offered to HSE standards. This course is based on 5 candidates per day.
Roll On Roll Off Freight System Training
Roll On Roll Off Freight System Training courses are offered to HSE standards. This course is taught at the customer's locale and is based on 5 candidates per day.
Potential ADI training
Training can be provided for Approved Driving Instructor candidates
